"A club is a hub of social interaction (excellent place for wedding party) and diversified activities for recreation, charity, exchange of knowledge, creativity, sports, etc. Ladies in Dhaka had no such club till 1955, so life was monotonous as well as tedious. A few challenging ladies under the leadership of Mrs. Shamsia Shahabuddin took the initiative to start a modest beginning at a tin shade on 36, Eskaton Garden Road, Dhaka. The club is very well known in Dhaka as a good and standard community hall where various programs like wedding takes place. It has its own good and sort of brand name in the market.
