I actually did not have any idea how to but somewhere inside me I had this feeling of doing something big one day. So I started out with what I intended to - it was during my alevels and I had no clue where to go, from where to get the fabrics, which tailor to go for, let alone doing the embroidery. I made a few disastrous pieces - definitely those were disasters because I had no idea about the making and pricing or anything but I randomly started out doing it with the help and support of my mother. Fortunately some of the dresses actually got sold at that time. I did them for my first online page “Sabhar’s Closet”. Then I started improving (very very little though)as I made the second Collection for that page. I started learning from my mistakes - and got to understand the way things should work- still it was a mess - I didn’t have any proper craftsman for my work. After almost 2years I realized Sabhar’s wasn’t looking well because my designs weren’t upto the mark and I knew I could do a lot better as I was improvising with each collection. Then I decided to take a break - and it was a very long one, I almost gave up on my wishes and dreams and thought I will not be able to get back but a very special person asked me to start everything allover again and in a new way! As I always had the passion inside me, I started this journey and introduced TASHRINA’S WARDROBE on 2016- I started out with a limited amount of capital and with each collection I am circulating and expanding that small capital and today I can Alhamdulillah proudly say that I am being able to work on a professional level.I still never term myself as a “designer” - to me it is a passion! There are few things I have learned so far: * You should never give up if things don’t work out at the beginning. * You know the value of money when you’re working hard and not getting abundant amount of capital from your family but your own terms. * Even if you succeed, never be proud - I still have that nervousness working that I had when I launched my first collection.
